Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis gave a stunning performance on tonight’s Final, singing a cover of Johnny Cash’s moving hit Hurt.
The pop diva, who won the show in 2006, showed the acts exactly what their careers could be like, if they go on to win tomorrow night.
Appearing sultry and sexy in a full-length red gown, Leona looked every inch the worldwide star she has become over the last five years.
Earlier today Leona took to her official Twitter page to say that she couldn't wait to return to the show where she made her name. She wrote: “So excited to be performing at Wembley tonight on the live X Factor final!!!”
After her performance, Leona told host Dermot O’Leary exactly how final three – Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and Little Mix – will be feeling right now.
“So nervous! I can’t even imagine, especially being in Wembley Arena,” she said.
Since competing on X Factor in 2006, Leona has gone on to achieve worldwide fame and success.
Leona was even voted the most influential woman to live or work in London in the past century, according to a poll carried out by Metro newspaper earlier this year. Not a bad role model for this year’s X Factor hopefuls to look up to!
Leona recently revealed that she’s backing Marcus Collins to win this year’s X Factor. She told The Sun: "I'm really looking forward to this weekend - I'm rooting for Marcus.
"I love his voice and he's versatile.
"He puts 100 per cent into the big singing and dancing numbers but I saw one stripped-down performance of him just singing with the piano and it was really emotional. He can do it all."
The stunning singer also said she was a fan of Little Mix and Amelia Lily, who are up against Marcus in a bid to lift the title as X Factor 2011 champion.
