After another dramatic night on X Factor, the celebrity fans went to work Tweeting their thoughts on the results of the semi-final.
X Factor fan, footballer Rio Ferdinand Tweeted his support for Union J, after they were voted off the show.
"How Union J are going home I don't know. They will be HUGE...big future ahead. No doubts. Heads up boys."
Jane McDonald tweeted a personal message of love and support for Christopher Maloney, after he made it through to the Final.
The Loose Women wrote: "@ChrisMaloney77 Fantastic!! Well done! Enjoy every moment. Love Jane. Xx"
Elsewhere, the axed contestants from this year's show were Tweeting away.
Rylan Clark Tweeted: "Yes! James" to celebrate his pal James Arthur making it through to the final. The Essex lad also offered his condolences to Union J, saying: "In shock, the boys are amazing x"
Kye Sones did the same, telling the boyband: "Big future ahead boys!! U did amazing! @Unionjworld already got a song written 4u"
Jade Ellis commented that Union J were, "Graceful, talented and robbed," but also pointed out: "Saying that... It's a hard process, & I have nothing but well wishes 4 the final 3. Well deserved, trust me it's not easy whoever you are."
A cheeky Shane Richie joked: "What's that age old saying? You can choose your friends but not your X Factor finalists ....I voted for Rod Stewart x"
Rod delighted the X Factor semi-finalists by performing a very festive Merry Christmas Baby with them at the start of the show. You can watch the performance in the player above.
