Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is to appear on The Jeremy Kyle Show later this year, as the legendary interviewer quizzes him on his troubled past.
Jeremy – who has only just returned to work after revealing he had undergone surgery and chemotherapy to treat testicular cancer – is set to quiz Blake about his drink and drug-addled background, and the claims that he is to blame for Amy’s steady decline.
The interview is set to be one of the most explosive on the show ever, and is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
A source told The Mirror: “This is a great first show for Jeremy to get his teeth stuck into and forget about his own troubles.”
Blake and Amy had one of the most turbulent showbiz relationships, with the pair often admitting to aggressive bust-ups. In 2007, they left the public shocked after photos emerged of them bloodied and bruised after an apparent fight.
Blake and Amy both openly battled drink and drug addictions, with many blaming Blake for the singer’s downfall. They divorced in 2009.
In August last year, Blake was put on a life-support machine, battling multiple organ failure after allegedly downing a cocktail of drink and drugs. Read more.
