I’m a Celebrity’s Mark Wright reveals plans to become the next James Bond

I’m a Celebrity runner-up Mark Wright has revealed that he’d love to step into Daniel Craig’s shoes and become the next James Bond, following his exit from the jungle.

The former TOWIE star, who narrowly missed out on picking up the I’m a Celeb crown after being beaten by McFly’s Dougie Poynter, admitted he fancies himself as the next super spy in the hit movies.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 24-year-old hunk said the idea was first put in his head by someone else -  but that he certainly wouldn’t turn the opportunity down if it arose.

“Someone else said that. I never said I wanted to be the new James Bond but everyone is saying it now so I just own it,” he admitted.

“Sure, I’d love to be the new James Bond. Count me in,” Mark added.

The reality TV star has spoken in the past about his ambitions to branch out into acting, and it looks like his dream might be about to come true.

“There are certainly opportunities that involve acting,” Mark told the paper. “I’m hoping to do some drama with one of the TOWIE producers but I’ve also been offered some presenting work.

“In a business sense, I knew that I’m a Celebrity would raise my profile a little bit before I do these other shows."

He added: “Eventually, I’d love to work in Hollywood – I’m not stupid enough to believe that’s going to happen in the near future. But as they say, ‘Reach for the skies’.”

One of the programme’s Mark has been linked to is popular soap EastEnders – but he said that there are “other things” he wants to do first.

We’ll certainly be keeping our eyes peeled to see what the Essex boy’s next move is going to be!
