I’m a Celebrity star Nadine Dorries’ boyfriend has jetted into Australia ahead of the first jungle eviction, so that he can welcome his MP love into his arms when she leaves.
The first eviction will take place tomorrow night (Wednesday, November 21), and vet Christopher Hammond has arrived in Oz, like all of the contestants’ family and friends, just in case she’s the first to be eliminated from the competition.
Speaking to press as he arrived in the country, Christopher said he’s excited to see outspoken MP Nadine again.
“I miss her very much. I’m very proud of her – she’s doing really well considering the tough times she’s experiencing.”
But Christopher did admit that he thinks his partner could be ready to leave the tough challenge show.
He continued: “I think we’re seeing the real Nadine in the jungle. It looks like she’s had enough.”
Nadine has been camping in the jungle now for over a week alongside 11 other celebrities – or ten now that Brian Conley has left, after being struck down by a ‘mystery illness’.
Meanwhile Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has revealed that he’s backing Eric Bristow for the King of the Jungle title, despite the fact his former on-screen daughter, Helen Flanagan, is also competing.
“Eric doesn’t seem to have any agenda and is keeping things positive with humour and natural leadership.
“I’m the reigning showbiz darts champion and will be challenging him to a match when he’s out to see who the true celebrity darts king is,” the actor jokingly told the paper.
