Emmerdale star Chelsea Halfpenny has revealed that she has "clicked" with her on-screen mum, Laura Norton.
The actress said her relationship with Norton is nothing like her alter-ego Amy Wyatt's hatred of her mother Kerry.
Chelsea told What's on TV: "It's been class working with Laura.
"We just get on like a house on fire, and I know everybody probably says that, but we really have just clicked."
The 20-year-old added that Norton is not a maternal figure on the set of the Yorkshire soap.
She said: "Obviously she's not that much older than me in real life, she's not a motherly figure at all in real life.
"She's one of my good mates now and we get the giggles really bad as well on set which is not good!"
Amy was taken into care after she was neglected by Kerry and her arrival in the village annoys Amy's foster mum Val Pollard.
Chelsea said: "Because Kerry is unpredictable, that will just add to the dynamics of the Pollard family and the clashing of Val and Kerry will just cause so much more drama in the family.
"I don't know whether the relationship is going to go well and they could be mother and daughter again, or if they're going to completely clash."
