Emmerdale star Chelsea Halfpenny has revealed that she loves her fight scenes in the soap because they make her feel like she’s in an action film.
The actress plays Amy Wyatt in the soap, whose mother Kerry is set to turn up in the village, leading to the pair clashing and falling out.
Speaking about the upcoming scenes, Amy said: “Fight scenes are my favourite because then you get a stunt man on set, and that makes me feel like I’m in Charlie’s Angels or something.
“I always say, ‘Really go for it. Don’t hold back. Just do it’. I’m not bothered if I get hit.”
20-year-old Chelsea really wants to explore Amy’s emotional side, which she usually keeps hidden, and she enjoyed being able to show her character’s vulnerability during the storyline where she gave birth to Cain Dingle’s baby and had to give him up for adoption.
“I want to explore her emotional side, because the only time you got to see her deep down without this front was when she had the baby and she was talking to him,” Chelsea explained.
“I think it’s going to be nice to see her vulnerable side behind all her orange make-up and dreadlocks.”
