Pollard has been struggling to accept David and Alicia’s engagement, and things go from bad to worse tonight when he confides in Brenda that their upcoming marriage is a sham.
Things kick off when Alicia has her hen night in the Woolpack and ends up being sick and having to be taken home by her husband to be.
When Pollard later arrives, Brenda is confused at his pained expression, and he tells her the truth about the wedding, leaving her shocked.
Pollard later tells David he shouldn’t be marrying Alicia and paying the price for her mistakes.
Meanwhile, Rodney and Edna are growing increasingly worried about Ashley, and when Rodney spots him rummaging through a bin he is horrified.
A shame faced Ashley admits that he’s been sleeping rough, but he is too embarrassed to return to the village, and Rodney has no choice but to tell laurel and Sandy about his friend’s predicament, leaving them shocked.
Elsewhere in the village, Cameron and Chas prepare to leave the village, but will they be able to go through with it?
