Alicia has been regretting losing her temper and punching Val, but things take a turn for the worse tonight when she finds out that she could be facing a prison sentence because of it.
Things kick off when David tries to explain to Val that Jacob is worried about his mum, but Val has no sympathy for Alicia, and when Jacob overhears her speaking about the assault, he tells her he’s glad his mum hit her. Charming…
Meanwhile, Alicia is interviewed by a solicitor, and she is forced to admit that she has a previous conviction for assaulting one of her mum’s carers.
As David tries to console her, she’s left horrified when the solicitor tells her that it could mean a spell in jail, leaving Alicia devastated.
Later in the village, Hannah takes great delight in telling Val exactly what she thinks of her when she turns up in the shop, and as Val snaps back at her, Hannah smugly tells her that her card has been declined.
Elsewhere, Ashley is mocked in the burger bar when Gareth and Oli find out that he used to be a vicar. Cue Father Ted jokes!
Meanwhile, Chas and Cameron are almost caught out by Debbie in the Woolpack toilets. And they say romance is dead…
Don’t miss Emmerdale on STV at 7pm tonight!
