Emotions are running high on the Dancing on Ice 2012 final as Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter have just skated their final routines in a bid to be crowned DOI champ.

Jorgie Porter’s Bolero was an emotional affair as the normally bubbly actress broke down in tears after the performance.

Her routine was elegant, controlled and skated with feeling, which is why the judges and Torvill and Dean also struggled to hold back the tears.

Katarina Witt had nothing but praise for the routine, saying it showcased “how beautiful you are.

“Your elegance, your passion, your performance skills and I think you gave us a really brilliant performance.”

Louie Spence, who awarded Jorgie 10 points for both of her previous skates in the final, was also impressed, saying: “You do these slow lyrical dramatic routines so well and you have just outdone yourself – fabulous.”

Robin Cousins said: With being slightly tired, and slightly out your comfort zone, we git to see you, and that was Jorgie and Matt playing Jorgie and Matt and doing it rather beautifully.

Matthew was also praised for his Bolero but now, their fate lies in the hands of the public.
