Denise Welch was 'ready to go' says Tamaddon

Hayley Tamaddon has said that Dancing On Ice viewers made the right choice in not backing Denise Welch on Sunday night's show.

The former champ told This Morning hosts told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that the Loose Woman was the weakest performer on the night.

She confessed that she was worried that the twist to the show format would see either Sam Attwater or Chloe Madeley in the skate-off.

Hayley said: "Everybody backstage was concerned that it could have been a Chloe and Sam skate-off last night."

Phillip replied: "It was a shame to loose Denise...she was such good fun."

Tamaddon added: "We have not seen the end of her. She is coming on tour with us.

"So in actual fact she has probably only got a week off before she starts training again for the tour.

"So that's great for her because she was ready to go. She said that she needed a holiday."
