Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has denied rumours that she and Max George are to get back together.
It was reported that Michelle and The Wanted singer had been speaking on the phone in the hope of repairing their relationship.
When the couple split they said it was because they are too busy with work and did not spend enough time together.
A source told the Daily Mail: "Michelle is definitely not considering getting back together with Max.
"They haven't been speaking every night, it's definitely over."
A friend of the pair's had previously claimed: "Max and Chelle have chatted on the phone together every day this week, and it looks like things between them are improving dramatically.
"He knows he made mistakes, but he still loves Michelle and wants to make another go of it. This is the first stage in rebuilding their relationship."
Meanwhile, Keegan recently denied reports that she was dating I'm A Celebrity... star Mark Wright.
