Carla and Peter have been having a rough time of it lately, and things are set to get even more complicated for the pair when Carla’s brother Rob turns up in the village.
Things kick off when Peter attempts to apologise to Nick for his behaviour at Simon’s birthday party, but he is left furious when Leanne tells him that her and Nick are leaving Weatherfield and are taking Simon with them.
Heading over to the factory to see Carla, Peter accuses her of putting her work before Simon, and a mystery man grabs him and pins him up against the wall, leaving Peter stunned, and Carla is shaken when she realises that it’s her brother Rob.
In a rage, Peter heads over to the Bistro and tries to talk Nick out of leaving with Leanne and Simon, and when he later fails to get any support from Ken, he takes his frustrations out on Carla.
Will Carla listen to Peter’s self pity or will she be more concerned about her jailbird brother?
Meanwhile, Owen is struggling to cope with the news of Izzy’s pregnancy, and he leaves Gary stunned when he makes it clear he doesn’t approve.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Emily takes pity on Tracy and offers her a room, while Roy snubs Hayley’s dance class presentation to play chess with Mary.
