Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has admitted that she is glad to have a less hectic filming schedule this year.
Vincent's alter-ego Sophie Webster has enjoyed a quieter time in Weatherfield since her girlfriend Sian Powers left the street.
Discussing what is in store for Sophie, Vincent told Digital Spy: "I don't really know at the minute. I've been in Kenya with work... so I've been pretty much focused on that. I've not really been in work."
She added: "It's been nice because my boyfriend only gets a month off work, so I've been to see him, I've been on holiday with him and I've been to Kenya.
"I've had a nice little chill and a relax, because last year was absolutely hectic - we were in pretty much every day.
"So it's nice to have a bit of a break, but I can't wait to get back in there."
Meanwhile, Brooke recently attended a music event with Sacha Parkinson, who played Sian.
Chatting about what she was up too Parkinson said: "I'm just auditioning at the moment, and I've gone back to drama school - I'm trying to get a bit better!
"I'm kind of glad that I've had a bit of time off because I've been trying to pass my [driving] test for about three years, so I've finally done that, thank God!"
