Coronation Street spoiler: Izzy's little secret

Coronation Street star Cherylee Houston has revealed that Izzy Armstrong is worried that she is about to be dumped.

Cherylee confessed that Izzy fears that Gary Windass (Mikey North) will leave her when she reveals that she is going to have a baby.

Houston told Soaplife that Izzy delays telling her lover the good news because of her worry that he is "not ready" to settle down.

She told Soaplife: "She's scared Gary is going to leave her and she'll have to do it on her own.

"How would she cope?

"She also wonders if she can physically do it with her disability. There is an increased chance of miscarriage, but lots of people with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - which Izzy has - do carry babies full term."

However, Cherylee said that she believes that the pregnancy will be good for the couple.

She added: "I think it will bring them closer together.

"They are really connecting at the moment and looking out for each other."
