Coronation Street favourites Alan Halsall and Ryan Thomas have renewed their soap contracts.
The actors, who play Tyrone Dobbs and Jason Grimshaw in the soap, will be staying with the soap for at least another year, and Alan took to Twitter to reveal the good news.
He wrote: “Exclusive! Ha not much of 1. I’m delighted to say I signed my new contract 2day @ corrie!
“Good news if ya a fan but not for @NatalieGumede x [sic].”
Alan and Natalie, who plays Kirsty Soames in the soap, have recently been involved in a domestic violence storyline, which has seen Tyrone falling victim to Kirsty’s temper.
Ryan, who has been playing Jason in the soap for more than 12 years, has reportedly bought a cockatiel to mark the occasion, which has been named Norris after Corrie’s nosey character.
