Tommy and Tina have been struggling to get Rick off their backs, but tonight Tina has had enough and takes matters into her own hands.
It’s Rita’s wedding day, and although Tina is meant to be helping Rita to get ready, she can’t take it anymore knowing that Tommy’s in trouble and she comes up with a plan. Running to the garage, she grabs the bag of drugs and drives off before Tommy can stop her.
Phoning Rick she tells him to come and meet her in person, and he turns up with Rita in his car. Threatening to drive Rita into the canal, Tina refuses to back down and tells Rita exactly what’s been going on. Spurred on by Rita’s lack of fear, Tina tells Rick that if he doesn’t let Rita go the drugs will be going up in flames.
Will Rick release Rita in time for her wedding or is her big day doomed? And how will this affect Tommy and Tina? It’s so exciting!
Meanwhile, with romance in the air, Sylvia reveals to Roy that she’s missing Milton and he encourages her to call him. As the pair starts Skyping, Milton asks Sylvia to go over to America, but will she follow her heart or stay with her son? Follow your heart Sylvia, go on!
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Sunita and Karl prepare for a private party of their own, but the pair are almost caught out by Dev, and Maria starts to develop feelings for Marcus.
