Liz McColgan is Scotland’s most famous marathon runner and speed must run in her genes as daughter Eilish has recently qualified to be part of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics.

Alex is one of Scotland’s best known champion-winning boxers – though is on the show to help The Steens take on cycling. What else do we know about the sportsman?

Katy Winton, 18, is a full time professional cyclist. She lives near Peebles and currently races for her team The Kinesis Morvelo Project in Cross Country Mountain Biking.

This is a martial art, which originally developed in the Ryukyu Islands, in what is now the city of Okinawa, in Japan.
