Not long to go till the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 final kicks off and we are more than a little excited about seeing some of the most talented performers in the land battle it out to be crowned BGT champ 2012.
But can you remember all the acts that have made it through? Let us ease your brain strain with a quick reminder.
Semi-final show one saw the judges go barking mad for dancing dog act Ashleigh and Pudsey. Their adorable routine may have been the cutest thing we have ever seen. Watch it here.
Ashleigh spoke about the plans for her final performance and revealed: “We have something planned which will hopefully blow everyone away! Pudsey will be doing something which has never been done by a dog on Britain’s Got Talent before - hopefully!! With a dog you just never know what is going to happen, and I have to place my trust in Pudsey one hundred percent.”
Also through from show one are Only Boys Aloud. The 140-strong Welsh choir revealed what they would do if they won the £500,000 prize money: “Half a million quid would give the choir a secure footing that would mean we could go on inspiring young men to do something positive with their lives.” What lovely lads. Check out their semi-final performance.
Semi-final two saw pop / opera duo Jonathan and Charlotte return to the stage and they stunned with a beautiful rendition of Caruso.
Speaking about how they aim to impress tonight, Jonathan said: “We have a performance that Charlotte and I both really like and we hope you all will too.”
Charlotte added: “It’s a song you should all know, fairly well!”
Kai and Natalia also danced through to the final in semi-final two, after performing a sizzling routine.
They promise to wow viewers with something different tonight, as they explained: “We have planned something different again and something very upbeat. We have stepped up our game again and we are going to show the audience something they haven’t seen before on Britain’s Got Talent. “
Semi-final saw the Loveable Rogues charm their way into the final with another rendition of uber catchy hit Lovesick – we’re still singing it!
The lads have attracted a lot of famous fans, including Jedward and Louis Walsh, but one celebrity supporter’s words of wisdom struck a chord with the Rogues.
“While being backstage rehearsing, Tony Hadley came up to us to congratulate and wish us all the best...We've been singing along to Spandau Ballet for years and that was an insight of just how many people watch the show,” the excited group said. Watch Lovesick here.
Little Molly Rainford also made it through to the final, with Simon dubbing her “adorable.”
Ahead of the final, she said: “I can’t believe the amount of support I have had . Everyone has been so positive with their comments. I just hope I can keep it up and make all the people who are supporting me proud. All the contestants have been amazing. It’s like a mini family.”
Watch Molly’s semi-final performance.
Semi-final four saw heartthrob Sam Kelly make it through to the final with a brooding performance of the Goo Goo Dolls song Iris.
The handsome 19-year-old gave an insight into what we can expect from his final performance.
He said: “Something a little bit more vocally challenging for me, but retaining the acoustic vibe.” Can’t wait!
Nu Sxool boogied their way into the final with a high energy routine that featured a number of hit songs by the likes of Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and The Prodigy.
Dreaming of taking the top spot tonight, the Welsh wonders said: “Winning Britain’s Got Talent would mean the world to us, it would change our lives forever. It's the biggest opportunity we have ever had.”
On the last semi-final show, it was 19-year-old Ryan O’Shaughnessy who impressed with his heartfelt performance of his own track, First Kiss.
He admitted his BGT experience has already changed his life for the better, saying: “Now that I've made it to the final, I am starting to believe that I could do well especially considering I mainly entered the competition just to gain some experience and feedback. It already has changed my life, and I know that I can pursue music now, which is an awesome feeling.”
Aquabatique also caused a splash and made it into the final with their stunning underwater act – a first for a BGT final. Watch their performance here.
What do the girls have up their sleeves (ok, so they don’t actually have any in those swimsuits but you know what we mean) for tonight?
“We have a new routine with a strong British theme that we hope the public will love it and join us in celebrating what an amazing year 2012 is for our country.”
So that’s it: Ryan O’Shaughnessy, Aquabatique, Sam Kelly, Nu Sxool, Only Boys Aloud, Ashleigh and Pudsey, Jonathan and Charlotte, Kai and Natalia, Molly Rainford and Loveable Rogues. But there’s one more spot in the final… the wildcard.
Who will be the lucky eleventh act brought back by the judges tonight? We’ll find out shortly. Tune in from 7.30pm to find out who will be crowned BGT champ 2012. We can’t wait!
