Louis Walsh thinks Britain’s Got Talent is more fun than X Factor

Louis Walsh has had a great time on the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent, saying it was more fun than reality talent show X Factor.

Stepping in for David Hasselhoff on last weekend’s show, Louis was determined to find some true talent so was delighted when 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke walked on stage at the London auditions and astounded him with his voice.

After his performance to the Nina Simone hit Feeling Good, Louis told Ronan that he was “born to sing” and that he predicts “really big things” for him.

Speaking backstage after the show, Walsh added: “The thing about Ronan Parke is he just walked on, he is 12, and he sang and he was in tune, it was a big Nina Simone song.”

Aside from the talent searching, Walsh found a little time to have a friendly dig at music mogul Simon Cowell, who will return to the BGT panel at the end of May.

“I am having a great time with Amanda and Michael, love it. It is a great job, it is easier than X Factor and it is more fun and it is less stress and the judges much nicer.”
