Britain’s Got Talent finalist: The One and only Gabz

Gabz Gardiner is The One singing, onesie wearing, wonder teen, who wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges during her audition with her self-penned track called, funnily enough, The One.

The piano player-rapper-singer may be 14-years-old but she has already written and composed more than 30 tracks. Very impressive!

When she took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage for her audition, the audience clapped along as she belted out catchy little number The One.

Alesha Dixon said: “Your melodies are really good, like really good.

“I like that you were rapping at the piano I thought that was cool and different.

“And I love what you’re wearing, you’re a really nice girl and there was just something very, very sweet about that. I really liked it.”

David Walliams said that Britain’s Got Talent would be ‘crazy’ to let Gabz go.

Simon Cowell gushed: “I absolutely loved that. I really did. I think that’s a cute little song, great chorus, you know, produced properly that song... you may have something there.”

Taking Simon’s comments on board, Gabz worked on her piano playing and upped the production for her semi-final performance – and the judges were blown away. Check out the performance here.

Amanda Holden likened Gabz to a young ‘Lily Allen’, while David told Simon Cowell to get The One on iTunes asap, as it’s destined to be “a number one record".

With that, Gabz made it through to the final, after beating Irish duo Jack and Cormac in the judges vote.

Oh, and there's the small matter of Snoop Dogg tipping her to be a global star.

The rapper told omg!: “Maybe she will win, maybe she won’t, but I don't think it matters that much for her career.

“Even if she doesn't win then a businessman like Simon is going to sign her to his record company, because he knows she has the ability to go global and sell records all over the world.”

What does Gabz have up her onesie sleeve for the grand finale? We’ll find out on Saturday night when the Britain’s Got Talent final kicks off at 7.30pm.
