Britain’s Got Talent 2013 semi-final line-up revealed: who made the cut?

Simon, Amanda, David and Alesha made some tough decisions – so who shall we be seeing on STV screens for the live BGT semi-finals over the next week? Find out here.

There was lots of laughs and tears as those who were lucky – and those who weren’t so lucky – found out from the judges who had made it through.

As Amanda said about making the choices: “This competition is huge, it’s global and it’s very important that we find the right act.

“You know, I don’t need to remind you that it’s for the Royal Family. You have to remember that this is a serious show, it’s a global competition now.

“We have to pick people now that we would be proud to say are British.”

One of those who made it through was 14-year-old comedian Jack Carroll, who exclaimed: “I can’t believe that out of all these different people I’ve come this far.”
