Britain’s Got Talent: opera singer fails to hit right note with judges

Opera singer Marina Calabrese was determined to hit the right note with the Britain’s Got Talent judges, as she took part in this year’s auditions.

Taking to the stage, the 47-year-old from Milan hoped her unique routine, which included singing opera while undergoing a number of outfit changes, would be just the performance the judges had been waiting for.

In the past, performers like Paul Potts have gone all the way, after wowing with their spine-tingling vocals.

But unfortunately for Marina, not all of the judges loved her stint on the stage.

Simon told the wannabe singer: “The outfits were dreadful, the songs were terrible”.

But David on the other hand seemed much more taken with Marina, telling her: “It was a work of utter genius.”

Find out of the other judges waved ciao to Marina, or decided to give her a second chance to impress, by watching the video in the player above. It’s a must-see performance!
